Green Hydrogen – A Key Technology for the Energy Transition Northern Germany is one of the pioneers of a green hydrogen economy. Wind energy serves as the primary renewable power source, and surplus wind electricity is already being converted into hydrogen in numerous pilot projects that are attracting international attention. Given its growing importance for a climate-neutral industry and secure energy supply, green hydrogen will once again be a special focus at HUSUM WIND 2025. With a dedicated Hydrogen Area in Hall 2 and an accompanying expert forum, the trade fair offers a specialized platform for technology providers, project developers, and industrial off-takers. This is where concrete partnerships, new business models, and strategic alliances take shape – linking leading hydrogen companies with key players from sector coupling, mobility, and industry. HUSUM WIND thus actively supports hands-on dialogue and the economic scaling of green hydrogen solutions.
