Since 2011, watt_2.0 e.V. has operated as a cross-sector renewable energy industry association with around 100 member companies from all sectors of the industry – from solar, wind, and biomass to heat, electromobility, energy storage, and marketing – for energy industry topics. The board, consisting of Ove Petersen (Chairman) of GP JOULE GmbH, Frank Groneberg of SPR Energie GmbH, Björn Jacobsen of S.A.T. GmbH & Co KG, Torge Wendt of Nordgröön Energie GmbH, and Patricia Dau of Westholstein Wärme GmbH, and Mai-Inken Knackfuß as Managing Director, are the initiators of watt_2.0 and have actively shaped the joint work since its inception. watt_2.0, with the expertise of its members, serves as a neutral, objective, and constructive dialogue partner for companies, institutions from business and science, and political representatives. watt_2.0 is committed to demonstrating the potential and significance of renewable energies, making their role and successes tangible, and actively shaping the energy transition in Schleswig-Holstein. This particularly includes the future approach to expanding these technologies and the sustainable use of the energy generated.
