Digital technologies have become a key driver in the further development of wind energy and renewable energy as a whole. Artificial intelligence, data-driven processes, connected systems and cyber security are transforming almost the entire value chain – from planning and project development to operations and maintenance, as well as grid and system integration.
With the Digital+ Area, HUSUM WIND 2027 is placing an even stronger focus on these topics. Centrally located in Hall 1, directly at the main entrance, the area brings together technology providers, companies, experts and users from across the wind industry. The Digital+ Area combines exhibition, knowledge transfer and professional exchange – making the digital transformation of wind energy visible and tangible.

Mohamed Harrou is once again supporting the Digital+ Area as an expert in digitalisation and cyber security. Active in the wind industry since 2012, he is familiar with both the latest technological developments and the sector’s specific requirements.

Putting digitalisation centre stage
In 2027, the Digital+ Area will move to a new central location in Hall 1 – right at the heart of visitor traffic and directly at the main entrance to HUSUM WIND. This prominent positioning reflects the growing importance of digital technologies for wind energy and the energy transition.
