The tallest lattice tower in the world

The GICON® high-altitude wind tower in Klettwitz is the world's tallest wind turbine. With a total height of 365 m, it utilizes stable high-altitude winds at a height of 300 m to generate significantly higher electricity yields. The tower is part of the GICON® hybrid power plant, which efficiently combines wind and solar energy. The project is funded by SPRIND and is scheduled to go into operation in 2026.
