Onshore Excursion Tour 6: Virtual Power Plant (Nordgröön Energie GmbH in Medelby)
Water, Wind, Sun, Biogas – and What Nordgröön Makes of ItAs an energy service provider based in Medelby, Nordgröön intelligently combines hydropower, wind, photovoltaics, and biogas – digitally controlled through our virtual power plant.
This enables us to market renewable electricity efficiently and make it usable right where it is generated. As part of the excursion, we want to offer insight into our working world – from direct marketing on the electricity exchange, load management, and a new green power certification, to dynamic electricity tariffs and regional supply concepts.
Together with Regiogröön, we’ll demonstrate how we are actively shaping the energy transition and getting the most out of renewable energy – for both producers and consumers.
