Team Spirit at 135 Meters – The HUSUM WIND Team Visits ENERCON
Just before the start of the trade fair, the HUSUM WIND team took an inspiring break: together they traveled to Aurich to visit ENERCON – for exclusive insights into the production of cutting-edge wind turbines and a real high-altitude adventure.
The HUSUM WIND team took a short break just before the start of the trade fair – to recharge and strengthen team spirit. 💪
Full of anticipation, we set off from MHC at 4:30 a.m. and arrived in Aurich at 9:30 a.m.
ENERCON welcomed us and gave us a unique opportunity to experience the world of wind turbine production firsthand. The program included a comprehensive factory tour and a visit to one of ENERCON’s wind turbines.
During the factory tour, we got an exclusive look at the large production lines for various wind turbine components. Afterwards, we had the chance to meet the event and marketing team and enjoyed a joint lunch at ENERCON’s Innovation Center.
In high spirits, we then headed to one of ENERCON’s largest turbines – the E-126 EP8, with a hub height of 135 meters. A professional safety team welcomed us, gave a detailed briefing, and equipped us with safety gear. For the duration of our visit, the turbine was taken offline.
A narrow lift took us up to a dizzying height of 135 meters.
Our long-time technician Evke Möller, who has supported HUSUM WIND since 2007 and is a true wind energy enthusiast, was thrilled:

This incredible feeling of freedom and the breathtaking view are simply indescribable.
