LSS offers Aircraft Detection Lighting Systems (short: ADLS) based on transponder signals. Our mission is to bring back dark night skies for residents and the environment by switching off the red obstruction lights when there is no air traffic.
Our ADLS locates air traffic on the basis of transmitted signals, for example from onboard transponders. Thus, we can switch off the red obstruction lights at wind turbine generators (WTG) when they are not needed, as is the case when there are no aircraft in close proximity to the WTG.
