First commercial V172-7.2 MW installed!
Vestas is excited to announce the successful installation of its first commercial V172-7.2 MW turbine. The turbine was delivered and installed on schedule and stands proudly at a hub height of 175 metres in Salzkotten, Germany.

The V172-7.2 MW has already achieved multiple certifications, including a Provisional Type Certificate, and marks the latest evolution in Vestas EnVentus platform, which has now secured over 19 GW in firm orders across 28 markets, with more than 10 GW already installed.
