Panel discussion AI: Digital AI sovereignty - a key issue for Germany's and Europe's competitiveness

Why we need to create digital AI independence now to avoid being left behind in global competition. (Discussion in German)                           .

Germany and Europe must develop their own AI expertise, infrastructure and technologies in order to avoid remaining permanently dependent on US and Chinese providers.

Digital sovereignty in the field of AI means:
  - Technological independence - own AI models, data rooms, cloud and computing capacities
  - Competitiveness - AI as a growth driver for SMEs & start-ups
  - Security & resilience - protecting critical data and processes from external access

How do we manage to become digitally AI-sovereign in order to not only strengthen SMEs and start-ups in global competition, but also give them a competitive advantage?
