RENOLIT CP Advanced film recently demonstrated its efficiency and technical performance in a demanding offshore pilot project. The application covered an area of over 3 square metres, spread across 13 different positions on four decks of a transformer platform. Despite challenging conditions such as working at great heights, strong winds and a constantly high humidity of 70-80%, the two-person application team was able to apply the film without any problems in just 4.5 effective working hours.
A key advantage of RENOLIT CP Advanced is that it is not affected by weather conditions or long drying times; a film patch can be applied fast and efficiently, requires no post-treatment and offers immediate corrosion protection. This results in a remarkable time saving of 1 to 4 hours per square metre compared to conventional painting work.
Nine months after application on an offshore transformer platform, current images of the coated surfaces clearly show that what was originally damaged or at risk of corrosion is now protected for the long term. The durable, robust protective layer provided by RENOLIT CP Advanced has proven to be a reliable barrier against corrosion, even on complex and uneven surfaces.

RENOLIT CP Advanced is an innovative high-performance film that has been specially developed as an efficient alternative to traditional painting methods for corrosion protection in demanding environments.
