Offshore excursion postponed due to weather conditions
Strong winds and high waves make the planned offshore excursion on 15 September 2025 impossible. For safety reasons, the date must be postponed.
Dear wind energy community and offshore enthusiasts,
The wind drives us forward – but sometimes it shows its full strength. Unfortunately, we have had to postpone the planned offshore excursion scheduled for 15 September 2025.
With gusts up to force 9 and high waves, a safe trip is not possible – and safety always comes first. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Messe Husum & Congress, WAB e.V., and our team deeply regret this cancellation, but we fully follow the maritime and offshore expertise.
🎟️ With your offshore excursion ticket, you can attend HUSUM WIND 2025 on any day of your choice free of charge.
👉 Here’s the plan: The excursion will be rescheduled! On 31 August 2026, right before SMM Hamburg, we will head out to the offshore wind farms with the HalunderJet.
▶️ Your tickets will remain valid
▶️ If you cannot attend the new date, the ticket price will be fully refunded
▶️ Schedule, route, activities, and speaker program will remain unchanged
