At ADC Connection Solutions GmbH, we develop and market advanced connection systems for rotor blades. Among our standout products is the innovative steel bushing system, which enables secure and reproducible bonding of the steel component with the composite material through vacuum infusion.
Our steel bushing system is offered as a ready-to-use solution under the name ADC.Wedge. The steel component is already bonded into the fiberglass component, making it easy to integrate into the rotor blade. The ADC.Wedge can also be used for repairing defective rotor blade connections without the need to remove the rotor blade from the turbine.
Our intensive development in material-specific bonding includes the use of a special resin system, which provides unprecedented strength and durability values for the bushing system.

In conjunction with the ADC.SWAP system, the ADC.Wedge can also be used for rotor blade segmentation. This process involves connecting two ADC.Bushings, allowing for reproducible and torsion-free pre-tensioning without a tightening factor, using standard battery-operated tools for single-person assembly. The additional step of final planing of the bushing end faces is thus eliminated.
The ADC.Wedge is ideal for repairing defective rotor blade connections. Neither special machines nor highly specialized personnel are required. A repair is therefore affordable for everyone and can be carried out quickly.
