These solutions are increasingly geared toward sustainable practices and low-carbon technologies. Uniper plans to invest €8 billion in transforming its portfolio by the early 2030s. This includes redesigning power plants and facilities and investing in flexible, controllable power plants. The company is already one of the largest operators of hydropower plants in Europe and is driving forward the further expansion of solar and wind energy as well as integrated battery storage as key elements for a more sustainable and secure future.
Our approach
We invest in the development of onshore wind and solar PV parks in our core European markets of France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Sweden, the UK, and Ireland. Our goal is to develop 8 GW of ready-to-build capacity by 2030.
Our growing team of renewables experts focuses on all aspects of the value chain, from project development to construction, operation, and marketing of electricity from renewable energy plants.
