Cybersecurity for Renewable Energy Resources

How does the Rhebo OT security solution work? In this article, you'll see what makes our monitoring solution for real-time anomaly detection in industrial plant networks so special and why it is particularly effective for cybersecurity.

Rhebo GmbH
Future & Innovation Hall, Stand FIS42, Germany

Renewable energy plants are increasingly becoming the target of cyberattacks and, due to their complex networks, are also susceptible to faults that can impair their necessary availability. For this reason, smaller plants are now also defined as critical infrastructure by new guidelines such as NIS2 and are subject to stricter protection requirements for their operational technology (OT). This is where the Rhebo solution can help.

The dedicated OT network security monitoring with anomaly & intrusion detection of Rhebo OT Security ensures both OT visibility and the continuous monitoring of the OT communication. Security-relevant incidents or technical error states that can impact OT operations are detected early on, assessed and reported in real time. Cybersecurity teams in IT and OT are enabled to respond swiftly and targeted to prevent operations and to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.

Rhebo supports its clients all along their OT security journey:
1. Risk analysis and vulnerability assessment (Rhebo Industrial Security Assessment),
2. Deployment and integration of the network intrusion detection system (Rhebo Industrial Protector) in your OT,
3. (optional) multi-level support with the operation of the network-based intrusion detection system (Rhebo Managed Protection).

The Rhebo solution can be implemented in various areas, particularly in the protection of renewable energy plants: www.rhebo.com
