Product-Highlight HUSUM WIND 2025

How do you make profits with knowledge?

Strong vibrations, fluctuating wind speeds or intense noise emissions—both onshore and offshore operations place the highest demands on professional engineering. Only by meeting these requirements can wind turbines (WTGs) be operated safely and in full compliance with licensing requirements.

Wölfel Wind Systems GmbH & Co. KG

Our ice-detection system, IDD.Blade, reliably identifies ice build-up and impressively reduces the downtime of your WTG. With SHM.Tower & Foundation, we offer a comprehensive monitoring solution for offshore wind turbines: sensitive sensors and smart algorithms capture real-time changes in the subsoil and foundation elements, analyse vibration behaviour, identify resonance effects, and accurately calculate the remaining service life of both tower and foundation.

Thanks to our Agile Design approach, you are optimally prepared for continued operation. This concept extends the conventional design process for structures to deliver continuous value creation over the entire service life. As a result, you gain a precise asset evaluation while maximising operational uptime.

Low-frequency vibrations of the entire WTG place significant stress on the tower and can noticeably shorten its service life. During installation, excessive oscillations may also impede blade mounting or limit it to narrow weather windows. Especially resonant vibrations can be reduced (cost-)effectively by our TMD.Tower dampers.

Noise-reduced operation often results in substantial yield losses. With ADD.Sound you minimize tonalities and return to normal operation mode. With more than 2,500 actuators already in operation, we rightfully consider ourselves the technology leader in active reduction of gearbox tonalities.
