Giants fallen. Preparing for the future. Review of the Gau-Bickelheim repowering project
16 turbines, 145 m hub height - a dismantling project of superlatives. Krämer Bau has successfully realised one of Germany's largest repowering projects in Rheinhessen - with precision, sustainability and foresight.
Last year, we completed a project of superlatives in the centre of Rheinhessen: on behalf of our long-standing partner wiwi consult, we successfully dismantled 16 giant wind turbines with a hub height of 145 metres. This was one of the largest dismantling projects in Germany.
What looks like a feat of strength was actually a masterpiece of logistics and precision in its realisation. Thanks to years of experience, a powerful team and sustainable technology, we have realised a dismantling project that sets new standards:
✅ Safe dismantling including controlled blasting
✅ Recycling of over 20,000 m³ of concrete directly on site
✅ Construction of the entire infrastructure for the new facilities
Today, modern giants are turning on the same land: 18 Enercon E-160 with a hub height of 166 metres - more efficient, more powerful, fit for the future
🎯 Are you planning a repowering project?
Then rely on a partner who not only dismantles, but also thinks about the future - holistically, sustainably and safely.
