GWU-Hybrid Power Solution and GWU-LiDAR Trailer

The energy solution for your measuring systems, characterized by high reliability, long self-sufficiency and low maintenance. Mobile, stationary and grid-independent! Ready for use at any time and any place.

GWU-Umwelttechnik GmbH

GWU-Hybrid Power Solution (GWU-HPS) is a complete solution developed for different requirements. This energy solution combines power generation using fuel cells and power storage using batteries in a weatherproof housing. At the same time, there is enough space for customer-specific adaptations. The GWU-HPS is a mobile and low-maintenance application for off-grid power supply: ready for immediate use at any time and any place. The outdoor-ready box is preconfigured and can be customized by selecting the EFOY Pro, fuel cartridge and battery size.

The EFOY Pro fuel cell charges the batteries fully automatically. The integrated charge controller permanently monitors the battery charge level. If necessary, the EFOY Pro is started automatically and switched off again when the battery is charged. This efficient energy management ensures that the energy supply always remains at a constant level. The batteries used also benefit from this. Continuous charging protects the batteries from harmful deep discharge, which in turn significantly extends their service life. 230V devices can also be operated via an inverter.

Equipment:

  • EFOY Pro methanol fuel cell
  • Digital display unit
  • AGM or LiFePo batteries
  • Fiberglass weatherproof box
  • Remote controlling / monitoring of the fuel cell via SFC EFOY Cloud

GWU-Umwelttechnik GmbH also offers a single-axle trailer for transporting, mounting and operating a Doppler Wind LiDAR measurement system including accessories. This means that LiDAR wind profile measurements can also be carried out in remote locations without much additional effort. The double rear door facilitates the loading and removal of required materials. The EFOY Pro 2800 methanol fuel cells used in combination with three 320 Wp photovoltaic modules ensure an autonomy of up to twelve months. The GWU-LiDAR trailer can also be supplied without photovoltaic panels.
