Mobile Roadway
StB Verkehrstechnik has over 100,000 m² of mobile roadway made from various materials. We offer the right solution for every application. Our panels are ideally suited for use in difficult terrain, as the last meters are often the most challenging. Additionally, our roadway protects high-quality surfaces such as old town paving and makes even the impossible transport routes feasible.
Our mobile roadways are used in a wide range of areas. Depending on our customers' requirements, we are active in wind energy, overhead line construction, heavy transport, and events. We work closely with project offices, operating companies, transporters, and organizers. StB's highly durable ground protection solutions guarantee a stable foundation for your project.
Storage & Logistics
Our logistics team manages the storage of our materials and their transportation. Currently, we operate nearly 25,000 sqm of open storage space for our customers.
We offer various options for storing and handling your goods. With our modern and versatile equipment—from 3.5-ton forklifts to 8-12-ton heavy-duty forklifts and 45-ton reach stackers—we can handle any cargo. This includes everything from Euro pallets, industrial packaging, and sea crates to 20- and 40-foot sea containers.
Traffic Management Measures
Right from the planning phase of a heavy transport, our specialists are ready to handle all necessary measures to ensure your transport arrives safely at its destination.
This includes setting up no-parking zones, dismantling existing signage, trimming greenery, and removing traffic signal systems. We also set up detours, make required modifications to roundabouts, traffic splitters, and road ditches, and dismantle guardrails. All of this is provided by us from a single source. Of course, we also handle the application for necessary permits and communicate with the relevant authorities to ensure smooth processing.
Route Survey
Planning to transport large or heavy goods? Whether wind energy components, industrial equipment, or oversized cargo—without proper logistical planning, your valuable transport will not reach its destination.
The key to a successful large-scale and heavy transport is thorough route planning and reconnaissance beforehand. We identify and document all critical points and obstacles to be well prepared for the transport. We check clearance heights of bridges, traffic lights, and street lamps. Naturally, we also measure curve radii and inspect entrances and exits.
