To mark the official opening of HUSUM WIND 2025, the traditional Town Hall Reception invites guests from politics, business, and the wind industry to come together for an evening of networking and exchange.
Official Town Hall Reception: HUSUM WIND Begins with Innovation, Dialogue, and Connection
The HUSUM WIND 2025 kicks off on Tuesday, 16 September with a festive reception at Husum’s historic Town Hall, held under the guiding theme “Progress through Innovation.” Starting at 7:00 PM, invited guests from politics, business, and the wind industry will come together to celebrate the official opening of the trade fair, connect with one another, and exchange insights on the future of wind energy.
Mayor Martin Kindl and Meike Kern, CEO of Messe Husum & Congress, will welcome attendees in the heart of the city, right by the harbor. Distinguished guests will include political representatives from the partner country Denmarkas well as from the state government of Schleswig-Holstein.
Enjoy a diverse evening program featuring culinary highlights, refreshing drinks, and a musical surprise act, hosted by Thore Ziebell.

Following the reception, guests are invited to experience a spectacular drone light show above the inner harbor and enjoy the popular Windwander:innen Festival, with live music, informal meet-ups, and authentic harbor vibes throughout the city center.
