Spelsberg realizes custom-fit enclosures for the highest requirements - from the modification of proven series enclosures to completely new developments. With comprehensive advice, in-house production, testing and optional assembly, Spelsberg supports its customers throughout the entire development
Versatile standard enclosures for the highest demands
The standard range includes around 500 industrial enclosures made of ABS, polystyrene, glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate or aluminium, each with or without pre-embossing, in a smooth design or with mounting lugs with a transparent or transparent cover. All enclosures are robust, achieving protection ratings up to IP67 and impact resistance up to IK09. Accessories as well as venting and sealing systems extend the range of applications beyond the standard.
Fast and flexible modifications
If customer requirements exceed the standard range, Spelsberg realizes individual adaptations quickly, professionally and cost-effectively:
- Milling, engraving, drilling, relocation of pre-embossing
- Printing, lettering, embossing, logo application
- Shape and color adaptation of modular enclosures
The injection molding technology with interchangeable inserts means that special requests can be implemented during production. Depending on the scope of the project, the implementation time ranges from a few weeks to a maximum of six months. The focus is always on close customer contact.
Development of new enclosures
If adaptations are not sufficient, Spelsberg develops completely new enclosures. Questions regarding budget, schedule, material, protection class and processing are clarified in advance. A CAD model is created on the basis of this data, followed by a prototype using 3D printing. Pre-series prototypes are then manufactured in the original material, tested and certified.
The subsequent series production is accompanied by tests in the company's own test laboratory - independently of external testing institutes. The tests are carried out in accordance with VDE, TÜV and UL. The latter gives customers an advantage through international recognition.
Assembling and complete systems
If required, Spelsberg can take care of the assembly:

Whether electronic assemblies, optical components or communication modules, the customer can hand over the entire final production process to Spelsberg. All services are provided under one roof, which ensures short delivery times and the highest quality.
GEOS - enclosure protection for extreme conditions
Products from the GEOS range reliably protect sensitive components from the weather, temperature fluctuations or chemical exposure. Available in 32 variants, 3 basic sizes and 2 heights, they can be adapted in many ways. They are complemented by a wide range of accessories, such as pole mountings, external brackets or the BEL Air M40 ventilation element to prevent condensation. Holes for mounting can be drilled precisely using the high-quality industrial hole cutter - ideal for retrofitting.
Intuitive online configuration
The variety of customization options is also reflected in the GEOS configurator. It enables simple, visual planning of enclosures. Users first select the enclosure type, add accessories and flexibly position drill holes, cut-outs and cable entries. Thanks to technical interfaces, it can also be used via wholesale web stores. This creates individual enclosure solutions for both indoor and outdoor use.
