More Service for Wind
Increasing demands on maintenance, repair and technical documentation
With regard to maintenance and repair in wind parks, we currently observe an accelerated differentiation. This leads to increasing demands on maintenance and repair processes as well as compliant training and user documentation.
The core challenges in this respect are to raise plant availability, to reduce maintenance and repair costs and, in general, to improve information management in servicing. The reinisch AG from Karlsruhe, Germany, provides consultancy for manufacturers and operators to tackle these issues and guidance during the implementation of custom solutions. Methods from labor time management serve to improve maintenance and repair processes with regard to structure and capacity. This allows for considerable cost reduction in plant servicing.
Service Information Management Systems have the potential to support recording, processing and reusing the numerous bits of information originating from operating, for instance Condition Monitoring, from servicing, for instance service reporting, and from the vast knowledge of the service engineers themselves. These systems also form a solid basis for developing preventive maintenance and repair or ongoing product development as well as efficient qualification and knowledge transfer within service staff – and thus boosting plant availability and revenue.
