With around 100,000 jobs in Germany alone, the wind energy industry has strategic importance for the future, offering a wide variety of career opportunities. For manufacturers, the supply industry and service providers – the wind industry is experiencing an on-going boom, with a large number of new jobs being created in the offshore sector. At the same time the industry is suffering from a lack of qualified personnel. The workshop on “Qualification in the wind industry” provides information about how to get into the industry and about career prospects. Corporate personnel managers will be presenting job and requirement profiles, and experts will be providing news about training and retraining opportunities within the industry. The experts will also field any questions you may have and will be on hand to discuss future developments in the subsequent panel discussion.
